i like lonely planet episodes quite a bit...it's presented in a best possible way imo. too bad some of the female presenters are silly, but the episodes with are brilliant! i just watched the tuscany episode he was presenting, and i still can't stop laughing! |

it's great how he manages to take advantage of just about everything. in this particular episode, he visited some baron who's very well known for producing excellent olive oil...the baron was showing to ian how to properly cut braches of the tree, when suddenly the tree broke and they both fell down with the tree...they both seemed a bit surprised, and then ian went: "i see what we're doing here...we brought the tree down so it's easier to cut those branches". the baron didn't seem to happy though :) |
