The Powershots are quite good. I'd be inclinded to check
some sites like:-

www.pricerunner.com
www.kelkoo.com

...you may get a new one with a guarantee, for a similar
price!

Very nice camera though!

I just thought it would be worth your while checking,
because I know I'd be unhappy if I knew something was
cheaper brand new from somewhere other than Ebay!

I remember buying a second hand Gamecube controller for £20
(granted only £5 cheaper than new ones at the time).....and
wasn't impressed that Toys R Us were selling them at the
same price :(

i need some bidding tips cause i'm new to ebay.

bidding ends in 38 minutes and the price isnt going up much
at all. when is the best possible time to place my bid and
should i raise it from lets say 165 euros to 170? cause when
the price did go up it has only been by single euros.

you could try sniping it - in the very last minute, make a
tiny bid over the current one and keep refreshing, hoping
someone else won't be trying to do the same.

what I normally do though, is make a reasonable bid and keep
watching it the last 5 minutes, especially the last two,
that's when the snipers come in.

160 Euros is 266 Canadian dollars. I have a Canon Powershot
A300, which I got for about 200 bucks, and it was a steal,
in my eyes. Your camera is slightly better than mine, so
that was a good buy.
