SUCKS!!! I really hate it!! We don't have Sky at my house
so I only have the standard 4 channels. The only things that
are ever on TV are either gardening programs or home
improvement programs (This is in the week I'm talking
about). There is the occasional good program to watch but
most of the time it's all shit!! I have to say though that
Channel 4 is the best (although it has a massive news
program from like 6:30 onwards) and the rest are shitty.
Saturday TV and Sunday TV is also boring as hell. Friday
evening TV rules every other evening in the week.

Perhaps you could try and get out more. That way you can in
a sense create your own sitcom.

Why watch other peoples lives when you can live your own?

Why don't you take apart your TV and stick the frame that
holds your screen in place onto your window, you can have
your own reality tv show and watch people go about their
lives. You can also try opening the window to 'interact'
with the people on your show.

I only ever watch TV in the mornings at my house. News over
breakfast or Channel 5's "The Wright Stuff" if I've been
lying in.

watched anything on TV for about two years, apart from news

although I have been watching Shogun on DVD earlier which is
an amazing mini series made in the 70's. Sky has killed TV
imo, even if they did make something worth watching, it
would just get swamped by all the channels and programmes
out there and you wouldn't even now it was on. TV was much
better with the 4 main channels format.

and don't get me started on Eastenders, how they get away
with showing that lame, manipulative, contrived, violent
(emotionally and phisically) piece of shit before 9pm i'll
never know.

hahaha, bbcamerica on direct tv here in the states is
nothing, but home improvement and gardening. I was really
excited by having a bbc channel. I never watch now. Ever.
Maybe on Fridays when monty python or another rerun of the
office is on. They only play three episodes. Quite shit
channel altogether.

Sky has the advantage of having John Bunnell on every other
night though. Compared to Channel 5's once or twice a week.
