Seeing as how news reporting and general media coverage of every little negative thing is a massive part of western culture these days, i think it'd be interesting to apply the same sort of reporting to random moments in history with the same Sky News type hype and that'd be a fun way to compare progress in the world with respect to wars, hunger, disease etc. - so we have imbedded reporters at the battle of waterloo - frontline correspondants as Ghengis Khan rampaged through the continent - specials on the Plague |
