So tempted to download at work. Better not, though.

The physics of the game are captured almost perfectly.

Something is wrong, it's all a bunch of gibberish.

Hahah, excellent game.

"Long, long time ago.
That's be a few of time.
In a wonderful and great land of mushroom people.
Named toadstool land.
Now evil draco kuppa
makes they him slaveves
by destroying they land.
Somebody must help.
This help is a mario hero.

Now adventure's began."

Horsefactory: I don't know.

I love this! The opening cutscene is so awesome. I
especially like the toad guy who is poking the tree.
And then the music is all cool and Bowser comes in his big
fucking tanks and smashes their town to the ground!

Super Wheelchair Mario always impressed me. Instead of
getting bigged up when you eat a mushroom, you get a
wheelchair instead. Hilarious.

it looks like mario, but things feel off

the jump control is too precise in some way, like mario
weighed nothing

the bopping requires too much precision in hitting the
enemies square on the head

you can't grab shells (big omission)

there are others I'm sure, but the bottom line is that it
just doesn't feel right

this is the real doll of mario games

I can't wait to play this. In 5 minutes, I will.

After what Pigeon St. said, I'm not optimistic. Mario's
physics and feel were platform perfect... any little
adjustment, and that automatically makes it IMperfect.

It looked and sounded good, but I can't deal with the
controls. Is there controller support?

i dont think so, does anyone know how to save the game, and
pause it too?

i downloaded it and set the whole thing up, but when i
clicked on the game, the screen turned black, the music
started, and then it went back to my desktop, so i clicked
on the games window on the bottom and it took me back into
the game briefly but back out again.
shit

what did you think about the physics?

other complaints

when you are running and jump to hit a block, you stop in
place instead of sliding along the block, very very
annoying

no pause button, or for that matter, any way to get out of
the game

shoddy control detection in regards to landing on platforms
and then jumping immediately

a crappy rip off game like this makes me appreciate the real
mario games even more
