just bought this because I had bought Blackalicious - Nia,
and the disc had some glue on it so my player couldn't play
all of it.. so.. I had never heard amon tobins music before,
but I had heard about him here... I like it, but i feel
there are a few too repetitive elements, at least on this
disc.. that arabic-ish sample gets old after a while...

I forgot to mention that the store didn't have any more cd's
for Nia, so I traded it for this. I didn't keep nia, and buy
this at the same time.

Don't like this album that much. Out From Out Where from him
is much better IMO. Just not fond of the jazziness.

it's a bit boring, isn't it...

maybe you should give it more time. I really like it,
powerful and strong, the 'jazziness' is really not
disturbing the whole. what the hell do you think of
squarepusher then?

A matter of opinion, yes, but it's great nonetheless.

it's good... some weak moments, but it's still good... track

I haven't heard that much squarepusher.. from what I have
heard, it's hard to determine if I like his music or not...

yes, they're both jazzy...but still I like SqP more. Of
course I dislike some of his tracks as well but in general I
think SP's sound is cleaner and more dynamic, whereas AT's
sound is dusty and boring.

well, amon tobin is brilliant live, at least when he's
playing harsh stuff (not his own :) )...i haven't seen
pusher live yet, but from what i've heard he's
excellent...maybe it was a bad night for him indeed.
