I highly recommend that everyone download which is a free program that will defeat the most annoying popup/searchbar/dataminer programs that are on your harddrive. You know, the type of shit that if you found out who made it, you'd personally buy a plane ticket to wherever they lived and slowly inserted a dull knife into their genitals. The reason I say to download this now is because HIJACKTHIS shows a ton of running processes and exe/dll files when you run it. HOWEVER, not everything hijackthis finds is malicious! So, please, download it, run it now (while your computer is still healthy) and take a screenshot or write down everything that it pops up. THEN when you do actually get hit (and believe me you will) you can just run HIJACKTHIS and look for whatever is new and doesn't belong and just delete it. Hope this made sense... |

Also... I post this because i recently had some really bad shit on my computer (found like 10 .exe files running in the background at the same time) and Adaware just wasn't killing it off because whenever I'd restart my computer everything resurrected like I never even tried to delete it to begin with. |

don't delete any of the spyware that kazaa uses cos it will stop it working. I did a search an destroy on 3 pieces of spyware that kazaa uses and I couldn't use the program anymore. I got a message box sayin sumthin like "Kazaa needs advertising blah blah fuck off". |

Kazaa sucks donkeyballs but if you insist on running it without spyware and ads you can D/L a proggie called Dial K which will override the bullshit kazaa cannot run without spyware ads blalbala. My recommendation is Shareaza which uses 3 p2p networks and has alot of statistics and the option to download bittorrent files thru it. gonna check out that program |
