is anyone familiar with this artist?
i think his music is absolutely amazing.. the mix of choas
and noise, and then the sublime pads... real raw emotional
electronica... i recommend it to fans of the more chaotic ae
material, 'fashion for passion', 'deflect' & 'fimt' are all
amazing lps... admittedly, thats all i own...

has anybody heard the new one? "seimlste" ?????

i'd be familiar with it soon if searching for 'ost' in slsk
didn't return 5 million items; is ost a ripping group or
something?

Ahh, I really like OST / Rook Vallade. Really bizarre,
distant electronica. 'Polyrhythmic' is the buzzword that
seems to surface most in OST reviews, and it seems
applicable. Sometimes the beats do sound almost haphazard
and out of control. Really nice creepy atmospheres.

OST's 'Fuckin' Twats missed It' and Rook Vallade's
'Systematic Desensitization' are both really good, although
they're pretty tough to wade through.

yeah, sorry... maybe if the search engine had been
functioning earlier i'd blahblah... well, maybe not...
topic seems to be still relevant tho: @uviol: U SHARING
THESE? YESYES?

Ah, I'm sorry man I only have them on CD and I don't really
rip stuff. Plus I'm not even sure where they are at the
moment.. buried in a shoebox god knows where..

If I get a chance to rip em in I'll let you know though.

okidoke, i'd REALLY appreciate it...
these are limited cdr releases from phtalo, currently (if
not permanently) out of print. :(
also his stuff is generally hard to find, especially in
europe.
my name on slsk is the same as here. tanks!

passion/1993),fimt /1994(deflect 1998 why has this guy have
such a ghostly presence? doing it for along long time.

thanks for the hint, despite the fact i had already checked
that. especially nice for a "coming-out". :)
as for his obscurity, no idea... apparently lots of bad luck
with releases and record companies. if he hadn't been
featured on that ATP comp in 03 i guess me too wouldnt know
his stuff by now...
