my mother and sister have been urging me (rather vehemently) to see a psychiatrist since I was 14. I'm 22 now, and most definitely never visited one. I'm not placing that fact as any sort of appraisal of the truth--I am of course unqualified to comment on this subject as I have too much bias. |
