now its not a country just off the border of brazil. ive decieded to give cubase sx 2 a go and put all my stienberg hangups aside. last time i used cubase was a while ago when i tried out se and all xp did was crash and hang and well... lets just say cubase was not my friend. Anyhow i need better midi support and recording so im upgrading to cubase and im gonna stick with it until i hate the fuker again buit hopefully ill love. just gotta learn how to use the gimpy prog now! |

I use cubase and am very happy with it. The 2.2 update was released a couple of days ago literally... now is a better time than ever to switch IMO. So you are looking at SX? I have SL and its good value considering the difference in price between the two. |

Nice that they fixed some bugs but those new synths sound like ass, which is the usual for Steinberg. I think their engineers have a giant mutant genetically engineered ass that they use as a sonic goalpost when designing synths. |

They didn't put the new ones in SL but I guess I'm not missing much. They actually introduced generic remote support here... it is kinda stupid that this was not done ages ago but I'm happy now. |
