Piezo is my most fave Autechre song and reminds me much of
my last g/f so it was great hearing it again.

But the video.....Well you have all the ingredients: A
fantastic sunset, waves, railway tracks and stuff but it was
too shakey man. Get yourself a tripod and you're sorted!
More panning, less wobble - the song is so hauntingly still
cos of the synths

Great that you made the effort though.

good work!
and you introduced me to a new track... wooha, good one!

That track is amazing. As far as the video is concerned I
think I echo KEYFUMBLER's comments. I would have liked
steadier camera work and more slow panning, and a longer
view of that sunset...it was brilliant.

well done Gwely, that was a perfect video for that track,
great views and camera shots. The file ended a bit abruptly
though, would have been nice if it faded out into the black,
is this how the track ends?

Do you own Amber? I am thinking about buying it after
hearing that track in your video, are the other tracks on it
of this quality/style?

Cheers.

The track is great, you have some really beautiful shots,
were do u live?

The shot of the caution sign is freaky, fits the music
well.

But as a whole video there is not alot happening. QUite
random, but the scenery captured the mood of the song

yes my tripod broke :(

although some parts of it were meant to be unsteady, like
the sun through those trees. as for the spanning, ill take
into account that it should be more steady

-no seaguls shat on me during the making of this film-

i dont mind the shaking
maybe the track's too good for the video, at times i was
only listening
otherwise: nice. you did film it yourself (the titles said:
footage from...)? is the material for something else or did
you shoot it with this track in mind/on headphones?

it was all during my 24 hour mission outside, i had my
camcorder and a bag full of music, after listening through
all of SAW II and some autechre, i decided that piezo would
be the song of choice, because its just so damn good, it was
either that or ae-nine. i have a rhubarb video too but its
not really me hosting this so i dont want to be a bother.

saved next to that '8 bit sex you up' video you did for Gus.

jazembo: youll love it, its of course very diffferent from
the newer stuff but so emotional

gwely: gimme a buzz, i can take like another 8 mb for that
rhubarb thing

or maybe wait till this thread died so people will be more
interested to download it

im sure JAroen can be bothered, since he wants to take down
the bassie-video anyway, and i have that saved now..

the 24 mission that was key_s idea?

i thought about making stuff like this when listening to
stuff, but dont have a camcorder or willpower to do it, but
a 24 hours mission would be good for that

Great, I have not heard any of their stuff yet so I am
looking forward to getting this. I heard a few tracks round
skinks place, and the AE remix contest also makes me
interested to hear more.

the new stuff is very abstract, you either like it because
of the complexity or think that its utter wankerish
washingmachine noises

youd best start off with either incunabula, amber or tri
repetae

yeh... the "Caution" sign popping up was mad.... there was a
couple of oddball quick edits that worked well.... of course
you don't want too many but it'd be worth thinking about how
they'd fit with the tune best.

Also... it ends abruptly....

(the reailbridge looked "Stand-by-me" scarey!)
