Cookin' Records Compilation - really subdued - definetly
early hours music

My sleep pattern's pretty shot away at the moment - I've got
in the habit of watching all the early morning chl4 stuff
like Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond before going to
sleep!

The popular music scene is abysmal (Nickebaaaaaack!).
But Montreal has some good things happening.
Toronto is tight too.

Can't speak for western Canada, though.

If I'm awake at 5:30am I'm usually listening to my friends
mix drum n bass and chain smoking and drawing.

But if I was just staying up by myelf that long I guess I'd
have SAW2 on, trying to go to sleep.

I remember when Nickleback played in Halifax back when I
used to live there. It was as if, for one night, the entire
city became a bunch of stumbling, screeching morons.

saw1 and xtal in particular is very good on a early
summersday morning.
and Dj Vlari's emotional landscapes mix does a pretty good job too.

I agree. Xtal is an excellent track. I first head it while
walking around Kyoto for the first time, so it has that
emotional attachment as well.
