can't wait to get home and check the "26 songs" album, full
of demos and other stuff i haven't heard before!!
i also got best of atlantic years 1993-1996...looking
forward to those vids that are on this cd.

which is your favourite album by them?
i'd say mine is houdini, great stuff!

as soon as i hear it...from what i read, the sound quality

this is a cozy little thread. don't know how on earth i
missed it before...

the best of the atlanic years is interesting. i got it, for
the videos only, as soon as it came out. i knew it was the
euro label cashing in, basically, but i didn't really care.
apparently, the melvins had nothing to do with its release
whatsoever. buzz said he would have liked to have been
involved to help make it a better cd, but he was never
consulted about it. so i guess the corporation chopped up
old artwork and put together a mix cd and that's what that
is.

i don't remember if recycle ever got 26 songs or not, but it
is totally different from eggnog.

here's a new video of buzz at the white sox game.
:)

yeah, i love that album. it's considered a classic. it
seems like all the original fans of the melvins pick that
album as the one that really blew their minds. :)

i would next recommend Ozma for you. it's really fantastic.
in my opinion, it's even a bit better than gluey porch.

Excellent! I will indeed check it out. Gluey was the first
ever release i heard and i felt it was a real fun album. I
got the impression that they had a blast making it.
