i still listen to aphex twin at least once a week... tho i've been getting more into boc, and what-have-you... this months album > the books. mappatazee> every photo is cliche these days, it can't be helped. now adays even "beauty" is cliche. |

i still like 'em. i reckon he still hates you all,. won't return your calls. .. tragedy, ma'am, how can you say that every photo is cliché? that'd be like saying every visible moment of reality a cliché.. photos are essentially just visual replications of fleeting reality, so every possible sight could be a possible photo.. the possibilities of perspective, subject, technique, etc. are seemingly endless. it is similar to living.. you never necessarily need to, or should live to only fill a particular and ordinary niche in the world. your task should to fill the role that hasn’t been filled. beauty might be seen as cliché at times, but the endless ways of portraying it and expressing oneself or someone else subjectively through it, mean the final result can always be original and refreshing. ...in my opinion.. |

Out of guilt I've been listening to 26 mixes for cash (well, minutes a few of the really annoying tracks), which I listened to for 2 seconds since purchasing it when it came out, and am enjoying it quite a bit. After I got into autechre this semester I listened to them way to much and to cool off have been listening to the much more organic aphex twin. |
