can i deposit money into my paypal account from my
australian bank account? ive just set up the bank account,
but whenever i go to deposit funds, it keeps asking me for a
u.s. account.

I'm pretty sure they accept credit cards from most countries
(my UK one was fine).

if i didnt hack my credit card up, i wouldnt be needing
paypal. surely you can do this from a non u.s. account.

Nah you can't transfer money from your AU bank account to
you paypal account... I'm affraid it has to be your credit
card.
It's stuck on "United States" for me aswell.

If you COULD transfer $ out of your bank account to your
PayPal account it'd most definetly would cost $20-25!!
Well thats the usual fee for paying people overseas from
your bank account to theirs that I've had to cop.

It's shit, but thats life mate sorry.

You don't need a credit card to set up a paypal account.
I have a Paypal account but no credit card. I just use it to
recieve money to withdraw into my bank account.

I usually put $ in by using my parents credit card and
handing them cash up front.
That might be another idea Hep... use someone elses card to
put $ in your Paypal.
