WASHINGTON, May 4 - The Walt Disney Company is blocking its Miramax division from distributing a new documentary by Michael Moore that harshly criticizes President Bush, executives at both Disney and Miramax said Tuesday. The film, "Fahrenheit 911," links Mr. Bush and prominent Saudis - including the family of Osama bin Laden - and criticizes Mr. Bush's actions before and after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. If you can't prove things, it's libel. Disney probably aren't censoring it as such- simply there's something unsubstantiated in the film that could make them liable as publishers for showing it. |

They say that they can't release a partisan film in an election year and that its too critical. But the fact that they invest a lot in Jeb Bush's state is no coincidence. Scorcesse had problems with Disney when he made Kundun because of its depcition of the Chinese occupation of Tibet. |
