i'm a huge fan of Ren&Stimpy, it's my favourite cartoon. i have two 4hour tapes filled with R&S episodes i've had for serveral years. also, i made R&S the subject for my powerpoint school project, and got an excellent grade :) my recent love is invader zim, i have every episode on the puter in high quality. i can't wait to get my hands on the 3disc IZ DVD's that are coming this may. IZ introduced me to the great talent of Jhonen Vasquez which made me hunt down every comic he has made (they aren't that many though). I'm not really bumped out because the show got cancelled, because i'm really more intrested what he comes up with next in the comic book world. |

there are 3 Ren&Stimpy DVD's out there with only selected episodes. they were released before last christmas. viacom is planning on releasing a complete dvd set, with every episode. i don't know when, but it will happen. |

yeah i love that show, i was so upset when they stopped showing it. My favourite episode is the one where they are in space ('Space Madness') and Ren goes crazy and eats the bar of soap thinking its ice cream. I have this huge ren&stimpy Log poster in my room, its pretty madleet. |

aren't they still showing new episodes on spike tv with john k. back on the roster? i've watched a few of the new episodes.. and they don't quite have the childish, yet semi-revolting feel of the original.. i guess it's cause the new show is called "ren & stimpy's adult party cartoon".. it seems more blatantly violent and disgusting, like stimpy's ass cheeks are drawn in all the shots, and such.. and then they don't seem to have as much of the great, extremely detailed close-up paintings in it like they used to.. but i do like how they incorporate some of john k's other characters like goddamn george liquor and that mentally handicapped "jimmy" fellow. |

i wonder if there is a website that has some dvd frame captures of those wonderful, wonderful closeups they'd show every now and again. that was was one of my favourite things about that show.. it'd be so cartoony but then occasionally they'd throw in an extremely detailed still-shot of something.. usually something disgusting. |
