hot dogs:

1 - easier to hold
2 - easier to eat
3 - more likely to contain colon

I am a vegetarian, and I think veggie burgers taste better
than veggie sausages (the ones I have eaten, I haven't eaten
that many).
But veggie alternatives taste way better than meat in
general.

Reasons hotdogs are inferior to burgers:

1. Minging with cheese
2. Cannot put a fried egg in it easily
3. Never filling on its own- you always want something
else.
4. applying sauce in a non-spill manner requires the
"lifting up" of the dog and inserting the sauce underneath.
This results in greasier fingers than you would get from
holding a hot dog bun.

why are vegetarians obsessed with shaping vegetable & soya
substitutes into meat product shapes? are they ashamed that
they will be caught out because their puny muscles can't
lift proper food up properly?

Eating a hotdog is the closest you get to a gay experience
without having a gallon of cum splurged on your face.

that doesn't go for all vegetarians. E.g. I rarely eat 'meat
substitutes'. I eat mostly (90% of my diet) living food,
which means that I eat mostly raw fruits/vegetables. But
e.g. if I eat with my family or relatives I ofthen eat some
form of meat-substitutes so I don't look so different to the
others (they eat meat).

You know what's good is a hamburger between two eggos with a
fried egg and melted cheddar and lots of ketchup and maple
syrup. This one time I was drinking schnapps with Pavarotti
and the motherfucker must have eaten like five of those.

Sorry sorry but people who are veggos who say like "It's
better" just kind of shit me. Thewre's no real better, but
you're missing vitamins that you're going to have to take
vitamin pills to replace if you go veggo.
I don't dislike vegetarians AT ALL, but if they get all
holier than thou and start pushing their beliefs on other
people it shits me.

This isn't really like even aimed at anyone it's just me
venting before it happens. Sorry sorry sorry monday morning

I'm curious as to how hot dogs are prepared in Japan. I hear
they put tamago (egg) on their dogs instead of ketchup,
mustard, relish, etc. I experimented once and scrambled some
eggs, put it on a hot dog, then put a little soy sauce on
it. VERY delicious.

I don't eat burgers as much I think, but I don't mind them.
I actually eat Asian food more than I eat burgers or hot
dogs, but I'm not too picky.

OD: Haven't slept since Thursday night?? You seriously need
rest yo!

Yes, obviously you Americans who only buy burgers in souless
chains like macdonalds are missing out on a great British
tradition- the breakfast burger.

Sold from small, unsanitary trailers on motorway (that's
interstate to you) laybys, by men you wouldn't want near
your clothes, much less your food, the breakfast burger is
your typical burger, but with ingrediants of a fried
breakfast in it as well. For example, burger, sausage (cut
lengthways down the middle), fried egg, baked beans,
sliced fried tomatoes, slices of black pudding (cooked
blood) etc. all in a bap. One particularly great one near
where I sometimes canoe in north Wales actually does fried
bread with the bap, but only on the inside surfaces, thereby
further upping the cholestrol :D

um

i've been to mcdonalds maybe twice this year

and that sandwich with the sausage and fried blood sounds
nasty as fuck

i'm deeply opposed to two different kinds of meat in a
sandwich such as what ever that cordon bleu sandwich is with
the chicken patty and slice of ham, or a bacon cheese
burger, or the red white and moo i mentioned earlier.
Turkey/ham/chicken is alright on a sandwich as long as
they're all sliced deli meats.

I prefer morningstar breakfast patties cut in half and
sandwiched between two bits of eggo cinamon toast waffles
(they come in fourths)

also i'm really more of a chicken person than
beef/ham/goat/etc

I'm a rawfoodist so I rarely eat that kind of food. But I
think you're wrong when you say that vegetarians eat stuff
that taste like meat. Few people eat raw meat (which is the
real taste of meat). Otherwise we're talking about cooking
and then meat is an ingrediens; not an entire meal.

A lot of people eat rare steak- that tastes like raw meat (I
know, I eat blue steak). Just out of interest, what (if
there is one) is your motivation for not cooking food?
Energy conservation or purely to preserve the minerals in
veg. that cooking removes?

ok, well I could never imagine eating raw meat (or cooked
meat without any preparation [e.g. spices]) back when I did
eat meat.

My motivation for not cooking (my main) food; is hard to put
in words without sounding like I belong to a cult or live in
a imaginary world.
It's just a total different thing. People accept cooked food
as their main food (for nutrition) because they don't
understand -
most people have been eating cooked food since they were
born so they have no clue really. Even most nutritionists
don't know much about the issue of raw foods.

What is Energy conservation?

Why I eat the diet I do is mainly because the way I feel on
it.

And why I feel good on it is because the
minerals/vitamins/enzymes are preserved and not destroyed +
that raw food is natural (when cooked food isn't). To
understand how your body reacts on cooked food you must stay
away from it for a (long) while.
But there's a lot more to it. The diet was a total eyeopener
for me. Giving cooked food up for real will probably take me
years. I enjoy eating it now and then, but just for fun. My
diet always (unless I am visiting someone or something)
consists of mostly raw food, 90%+ on regular weekdays at
home.
I've heard that giving up cooked food for real is like
giving up smoking in the way that after e.g. 6 mounths 100%
raw the cooked food will taste really cooked (like
cigarettes does-eventhough many smokers don't feel that),
and I have already experienced that...
Basically, the body functions in a totally different way on
cooked food (the body reacts on it, like if it was drugs),
and imagine being on such a diet for 40 or even 80 years -
what it does to your body.
Heh, there's just so much on this issue that sounds crazy
(so I'll stop writing now).
If you don't understand what I am saying (e.g. it sounds all
crazy) don't worry, my english isn't the best and most
people don't. But please comment on it :)

chili, cold cuts, etc. All of which are suppose to look
like, and try to taste like meat. stfu
