...as a synth programmer/drum programmer in our local music
shop.

hopefully i'll get some kind of reply, because lately I've
not been doing much work on tracks (even though I really
should be) and I think working with a band or someone else
would benefit me, and obviously it'd benefit them too.

The only problem is that here in Widnes and the surrounding
areas, most of the bands are "rock" bands, or something like
nu-metal....which I don't personally take to, but I guess
I'm gonna have to test the waters.

Anyways, if there's any developments I'll be sure to post up
links to downloadable files etc

yeh, i will make sure it's all worth my while to work with
someone...there's no point working with someone who you're
gonna clash with or something, right?

i have been thinking about doing the same thing.. join a
band and work only with the "speacial effekts" or
something..

and around my town theres mainly nu-metal and other rock
type of people..

but new metal could really develope if they took the electro
toutch and brutalness to itself.

Another problem is that im a loner.. im not social at all
and absolutely not with ppl in my own town.. so even if
someone would want me to program some wicked drums for their
tracks.. it still would be shit hard to get along with the
ppl and get along enough to work together.. u know what i
mean

yeh i know what you mean

i used to be quite a loner myself, until i met my
girlfriend

now i find it easier to talk to people, but i still have
that initial stage where you don't really know what to say

I am the opposite...I used to be an extrovert now I sit at
home killing time with superglue. If I go out someone is
