So it's late April, what's come out so far this year that's
really floored you?

Mine are two very, VERY different albums, both of which I
find stunning in different ways:

Faun Fables, "Family Album"
and
The End, "Within Dividia"

What is Deerhoof like? I've only heard the song they did
for the Shaggs tribute album, and that was understandably
very weird.

Deerhoof is awesome... they're just really odd rock... with
kind of an odd cross between 60s rock and like really
forward minded prog-type stuff... very nice melodies... oh
so fun... i recommend Reveille (from 2 years ago), althought
the new one is probably just as nice...

excuse for not doing useful things... please do not feel
inferior... just take advantage of my wasted life and check

Albums of the year so far?

Damn, I dunno yo. I haven't heard Ultravisitor, but I feel
odd about the direction that SP has taken as of the past
couple years.

It's been over a year since Booth & Brown's latest release.

I'm somewhat curious about a Public Enemy CD that came out
this year though.

It's hard for me to say really, because there don't seem to
be many 2004 albums floating around at the moment. Perhaps
later this summer or in the fall?

Hmmm... I'm kind of in a musical lull right now, I don't
have enough time to listen to everything on my wishlist.
Lampchop- No, You C'mon and Aluminum Group- More Happyness
(might be 2003) top the list for me so far, though.
