...here in Holland, and it was FUCKING GREAT!

he played for about an hour and a half and built the set up
pretty well,
he started with einstein-rosen bridge and threw in more
chocolate wheelchair tracks (epidermis, herbie goes
ballistic, ghetto body buddy, abomination street) and also
higgins' dance like you're selling nails, find candace's
befriend a childkiller remix and some unknown (to me at
least) tracks which sounded very cool,
when later on he mixed the end-part of hand throw (the
bassdrill bit) with all the children are dead i thought we'd
reached the climax of the set (especially since he kept on
using that hand throw ending) but it only got more insane
and earsplittingly loud, the last 15-30 minutes were pure
madness, i only managed to recognize the track unborn baby
at that stage,
it was also cool to see a lot of trevor brown artwork on the
video wall in the back during his performance

snares himself seemed to have a pretty good time performing,
he drank beer like water and at 4:00 they had to tell him a
couple of times that he really had to stop since his time
was up, but he still wanted to go on,

i would definately go and see him again next time,

recommended!

I have not seen you, it was awesome! I was a bit to drunk,
but I've talked to vs for almost half an hour before the
show, asked him if he could play long just for me cause I
travelled almost two hours just to see him, he said he would
and he did. even bought him a beer, so now I can say I
bought VS a beer, I realy liked the guy: he's pure and evil

Hello to you too! Long time since I spoke to you indeed :-)

"long time no see!"

I've been "back" for a little while. But for the last 2
weeks or so I've been hiding in videogame-threads though
;-)

Find Candace is probably my favourite VS-release right now
(out of the 3 I own, lol). It's awesome!

and here's the flyer (front/back)

unyx was surpisingly good, great breakcore,
sickboy also gave away a great show and bong-ra was more
drum n bass, quite powerful but couldn't beat snares of
course :)

" i remember you saying that find candace all sounded
quite the same to you after the third track or

"

oh yeah...
lol. I vaguely remember saying something like that :-p Back
when I was still young and naive.

Seriously... what was I thinking? It's a great ep. And
actually quite varied too... how did I manage to think those
tracks sounded the same.

Glue Funk Hits is a different story though. I love
(loooooove) tracks 1, 2, 9 & 10. Some of his best stuff I
reckon. But the tracks inbetween do sound awfully
similar. From Make Ronnie Rocket to Cobra Commander it's
almost like I'm listening to one long track.

Maybe it just needs more time. I wonder if I'll also laugh
at this post in a couple of months time.

Ha it's true! I'm really into videogames lately. I think I
came back to xltronic more for the people than to talk about
electronic music ;-) The last IDM-cd I bought was
ultravisitor... and I'm not sure what to think about that
one yet. It's not bad... but it's not that great either.

We should make another thread full of seinfeld-quotes
sometime :-p Just like in the old days.

'next weak' ? haha damn, how did that happen?
should be 'next week' obviously

and yeah surrounded, we really should bring back the old
seinfeld days here on xltronic, remember the seinfeld avatar
mania? :) i'm not online that often anymore either though :\

No regrets at all morton, it was one of the best decisions I
made in live, I was probably one of the people bothering him
in the front, I also did that in the back :) I've probably
seen you too, is that you on the pic at the entree? are you
gonna upload more pics? btw. I tried to dance almost the
whole night, I was wearing a Skam-tshirt and I was screaming
"yiehaa" and "yeah" all the time cause I was to fucking
drunk :p

"remember the seinfeld avatar mania?"

how could I forget :-)
There was a time when every thread somehow seemed to develop
into a discussion about seinfeld. It was just... in the air.
A beautiful time indeed. It just happened. But I guess one
shouldn't try to recreate something like that. It would
probably never be as fun as it was back then :-/ Best to
just cherish the memories ;-)

"i'm not online that often anymore either though :\"

Oh? And why is that? You busy? New job or something? Or are
you just not into it that much anymore? :-)

to sleep issue :\

VSnares has been in my winamp and CD player a LOT. I even
bought WITBOAS and doll doll doll (should have done so
sooner).

Wow, that's really cool! :-) Do you still do the same things
at philips that you did when you were an intern? Working on
that flexible tv-screen or something? Either way... a nice
job, a nice girlfriend... some big improvements in your life
I'd say! Good news :-)

Does your gfriend like vsnares and merzbow too? Or do you
have to listen with headphones now :-p

And LOL, you have almost twice as much points as me! How did
that happen? I remember a time when I was I still ahead of
