Ya

been thinking I should make a mixtape for a while now. As I
don't have two mixtables yet, it'll have to be an
mp3-mixtape, and I thought I'd use songs from xlt. Kind of
"best of," only with a better name, eventually. If anyone
has any good suggestions, bring 'em on, but since it will be
a "best of," i'd like to have like a few people suggest the
same track before I include it. I will also include just
some favorite tracks, but they won't be in overweight.

I won't exceed 80min. cd-time on the final mix.

I also need some tips and tricks about software and shit to
make mp3-mixtape (been planning on using Acid, but if anyone
got any better suggestions, bring 'em on...)

i'd imagine Ableton Live would be pretty good to use

or maybe not

i dunno

it's been installed on my hard drive for over 3 months and i
still haven't played around with it much

i'm sure you can record audio into it

You mean acid? I've got soundforge, and it's not good for
blending tracks. Acid has those fade-curves which can be set
to match the fade-curves of different dj-mixers. The
pitching may have to be done in soundforge, though.
