Thought I'd post my latest. The 128kbps quality means it sounds muddy as hell. Wondering what you crazy kids think of it.
Alan Tit-Mash Tim's Incredible Cunt Belt
I think there's something missing from it but I can't put my finger on it.

sorry, but this is rubbish... is this a load of different styles, the back bass are nice, but the altogether is not sounding as a whole to me. repetitive later on, and more organized.
although i see why you don't like kettel now, heheh

I enjoy the drumprogramming allot.. i have a thing for style variation and fuckt up jungle..
the melodys are ok i guess.. not agressive enough thou..
i think the track is ok becouse of variating drum programming.. it could be really really good if u had more melody in it.. it feels like you need something in between all this.. cant figure out what thou =/
btw, is that a fart i hear in the begining of the song and some time later aswell ?

it's not at all that much 'all over the place' that it could be.. the beats that starts at 1.20 sounds really promising though.

i agree that the collage beginning leaves something to be desired - personally, i'm sick of hearing that squarepusher break in all these songs. but the track gets a lot better after that. the beats and the bass sounds are great.

Thanks you guys.
It's not finished, so your comments will be taken on board as they were with two previous tracks I posted here, and I'll try to sew the whole thing together nicely.
those ARE fart sounds. farts make me laugh.
"that squarepusher break" Cheers man, but you are aware that Squarepusher wasn't the first man to sample breakbeats aren't you. He's sampled all the good ones, but I'm guessing you mean the Think break.
If you email me, Roygbiv, I can sort you something out. japes@klatch.co.uk

right, of course i know that squarepusher didn't originate breaks - i don't know what that specific one is called, but it's the one i associate with him having first heard it on his record. i've heard it on many others since then. where did it originate from, anyway?
i really enjoy some of your other tracks a lot as well. you do some great stuff!

The Think break was originally from a Lyn Collins song called Think About It and is one of the most used breaks in drum and bass.

another truly mashed up track japes. After hearing 'yardie acid' I had a fair idea of what this track might be like :)
I didn't really like the intro to this track, it was too random, but after the 30 second point it got so much better! From0.30 to 1.20 it was like a great mini track hidden within. From 1.20 onwards was quite good, pretty cool beats and bass. Is that a group of monks I hear in the background?
Your use of farts made me grin, I don't think I have ever hear the fart featured on xltronic until now.
