I have been looking for a long time but in vain. I'm
talking about ever evolving polyrhythmic structures and
claustrophobic threatening musical backgrounds. Think
confield or draft 7.30(first two tracks for example or
surripere). I want no vsnaresical breaks, no devine(I like
his shit but it doesn't fit the description above), no
glitchy stuff like oval (too simple rhythms). Anyway I hope
you get the picture...

Nik Kershaw

The Riddle has it all - dark atmospheres, polyrhythmic shit

near a tree by the river, man!

try "titan arch" by coil or "mutilation colony" by
squarepusher

if you can find a merzbow expert they could lead you into
some really dark sounding shit too,... not enough of a fan
myself to point you in the right direction though....

You've probably already heard the track "moth" from
download's "III". It sort of matches that description. As
for more glitchy autechre mutating things (I think devine's
lipswitch pretty much fits that description you gave
though), the track(s) "event cube" by phluidbox and the
album "pre" by chulk are both hard to find. If soulseek
worked for me I'd share them to see if you liked them.
Another used to be on mp3.com called "dannn" some of his
track titles were ... "nann" maybe, I forget.

ah, well it wouldn't be very thick then would it?

try adding some gravy browning and flour

that'll thicken it up!

yeh but what i'm saying, is.....

if you made an arsebiscuit, so that it was thick, dark,
disturbing and swirly, it'd have all the properties you
require

just digitize it as audio, and hey presto!!!!

Vladislav Delay, maybe? Sometimes? Maybe not. But I get the
same weird feeling from him that I do from that AE couple.

order (stuff like confield)... possibly Doofgoblin...
