...i finally got it!! the Soliloquy For Lilith re-edition... =)
i'm happy. it's like the end of a malediction, or something, the Quest of the Record is over. (thanks to dariusgriffin for the name)
next quest in my life: the Quest of the Ear Problem Recovery; secondary quest: the Quest of a Way to Stop my Shoes from Tearing the Skin of my Heels, then the Quest of the Final Exam Passage. (i do not worry that much about the last two, i do about the first one though).
and then who knows what kind of awesome astonishing marvellous adventures (= problems to solve, diseases to cure, maybe depressions to overcome etc...) life will bring me?
... and you, what is your life's current fantastic adventurous Quest?

Nurse With Wound is sweet... tres sweet... does he still perform? perhaps one of my quests would be to see Mr. Stapleton live... or maybe it should be to go to more awesome concerts in general... the quest to go to a music festival filled with fucked musicians... or maybe i should just focus on these bloody essays...

princo > the whole story here... (i finally got the package from strange fortune when it has been repressed, it was well packed and all : ))
DeadEight > have you heard about the new release, 'Angry Eelectric Finger...'? it's been released on march 29th - a collaboration between NWW, Cyclobe (former members of Coil, apparently), Jim O'Rourke, Xhol Caravan and Irr.App.(Ext.) (haven't heard of the latest two)...
it seems like the project has changed a bit but from what i understood, apparently Steven Stapleton has made a basic track of raw material and asked all these artists to do something with it.
must be interesting. =)
(limited edition of 2000, so i ordered it already)

far superior to lilth, in my humble opinion - is a piece of phonometrographisation by the name of 'how to slice a loaf of bread'. You all remember that ae & hafler trio collaboration - this is the hafler man solo over 5.5 hours and six discs //lovelyness+

(more than five hours to slice a loaf of bread? wow. that's taking your time... o_O)
i didn't hear anything by Hafler Trio, nor that "ae3o h3ae" thingie...
do you have any sound samples or something?

i have zero sound samples - that'd be futile anyway
but you can see the packaging at the website though!
the bread is almost drone like - but not so simple, the very definition of subtlety and perhaps minimalism - mmm

i've been waiting for my time machine (and other peripherals) for a few months from strangefortune and get this:
________________________________ These two seem to be awaiting re-press at the label, no estimate anymore:
>Coil / Time Machines / CD / $15 ..etc ________________________________
and coincidently just before i read your reply was in the process of emailing requesting to substitute the out of stock items be replaced with more hafler - a coincidence? - maybe, but you do have a time machine.

i'd really like to hear how to slice a loaf of bread... i've been really enjoying Hafler Trio stuff lately... sometimes it's a bit too minimal for my tastes... but i'm glad someones doing it...
Uzim, you should definitely check the "ae30..." thing cause it's nice... and it's not really minimal at all... it's just complex digital sound drones that change constantly... has a really interesting affect on you when you really lose yourself in it...

i just bought How To Slice A Loaf Of Bread today... man that packaging is messed... so far i've only listened to the first disc... it was my nap time music for today... what i remember of it was pretty awesome... but i've kind of come to expect that from Hafler stuff... i'll probably rant and rave about the whole thing sometime in the near future...

I waited almost 4 months for my copy of alphawezen's - 'lapres mid d'uin microphone', and about 7 for "loves secret domain" which I bought after 3 months of waiting in melbourne, expecting my local store never to get it in

hey, uzim... you got the reissue with the extra cd right? amazon is like charging over 100$ for it... how much did you get it for?
is the third cd as good as the other two?
oh and by the way, i got the chance to hear the preview release (a single cd version... on the release itself they are unclear as to whether the material on the preview release will be on the three disc set) for angry eelectric finger... it's pretty awesome...

over $100?! wow. °_° i got it for around €32, something like that. =)
the third cd is as good as the rest! it's two tracks, which are probably "remixes" from the original material, or at least recorded at the same period (it says all material was recorded in 1988 in the liner notes)... i'm not sure it would justify buying it again if you already have one of the older editions, but it's a nice addition. fits well with the original tracks, while sounding a bit different in "construction" - especially the last track , which makes a better ending than the last track of the second cd in my opinion.
and i have Angry Eelectric Finger (Spitch'cock One) too... but they could have warned it was only a "preview" (ok, they did on the "official" site at brainwashed.com but they updated it months after the release), i bought it thinking that it was the actual final release and that they had "shrunk" it to 1-CD instead of 3-CD! if the music and artwork weren't good, i'd feel cheated. third track is my favourite.
