the reason im not around as much lately is because i honestly dont like it here anymore. dont get me wrong, i love most of you but there is WAY too much nonsense here. if i wanna talk about some electronica track and see if anyone also likes it or has some back history of the artist, i usually end up getting my answers in huge circles of bullshit. and i also agree with phobia 169%, i also think that some new members here are greeted with childish baffle and slowly slip away from this site. and this site is my fav MB in the world! shape up. |

For the noobs... ;) If someone comes to the MB, perhaps from having looked at the discography, or DLing the XLT Vibes compilations, one look on certain days would be enough to put them off, or perhaps worse, make them think writing nothing but garbage is acceptable. All boards have a small amount of nonsense threads, but when they outweigh the good, as they do here on some days, it puts off potentially "good" members. Similarly, it does drive people away. Even if they don't leave abruptly, in disgust, a fair few old regulars have left because of the "decreasing quality" of posts. |

You are not gonna be able to change the attitudes of some people here, its gone way past that stage. Yes, its sad that you don't like coming here, and I do agree with what you are saying....and although I still read some of the threads once every so often, I've found myself very rarely posting here much at all recently. |

hey Bryan. it has been a while. you gotta stay here, man. you can't leave just cuz a few crazy people are having fun or releasing their anger..... sure some posts are completely irrelevant and don't help at all in getting the information you want. but there must always be a balance between good and bad posts. it's all in good measure, man. don't worry about it. but yeh, i do agree when someone's tracks or nonsense threads are bumped simultaneously in multiples of 12, then there is somewhat of a problem.... :) |
