Yeah man, I was weary he'd come up with something fresher than the xpander EP but airdrawndagger kept my attention from start to finish, it's always in my car's cd changer, lush is the word

I was surprised by airdrawndagger, I've never liked his tired dj sets but there was nice noises on that album.

It was a lot more 'electronic' than I expected. I assumed it was going to be one faux build up after another but it was quite nice in the background. I heard it by accident enjoyed it none the less.

If i had to recommend an activity to partake in while listening to airdrawndagger, it would have to be skiing or snowboarding.

The electronic influence was not entirely his doing. He had a producer who heavily influenced his sound, as well as two people who re-did his synth parts (one with old analogue synths, the other using, amongst other things, softsynths like Buzz).

Yeah, I wonder how much he does himself. Is he still making stuff with the bloke from Spooky?
I really rate Sasha. I've never heard him play records with cheesey breakdowns. Over time he's moved further from that territory anyway.

I just wonder how much he rides on the talents of others when making tracks. He seems like a bit of a James Lavelle.

I love his DJ sets! His most perfect live mixset must be (together with John Digweed) this one:
"Sasha&Digweed - essential mix april 6th 2002", also named "Live@Delta Heavy Tour Miami 2002"
If you haven't got it,be sure to check it out if you want to hear a hypnotic and seamless mix
