is a fucking treat. I just got back from an amazing set.
I'm not too familiar with his work so when he started, I
thought he was playing all his own stuff but I heard a few
things by others. Some kind of Chemical Brothers beat, Gavel
by Chris Clark, The Exploding Psychology, Voodoo Chile by
Hendrix and Raining Blood by Slayer. It was a really cool
mix and he played some of the most incredible drill and bass
I've ever heard.

Kid Koala, who was on stage just before Amon, also was
fucking amazing. The guy does stuff with records that seem
impossible. At the end of the show, he was using three
tables, Amon was on two and Koala's dj buddy was on two.
Yes. Seven records playing at once and they were fucking
that shit right up.

If the Ninjatunes tour is coming to your town, by all means,
go to it!

I wish I did =(

I'm searching slsk right now for any of his shows from 2004.
Maybe someone can get a recording of one of the 4 shows left
on the tour.

I'm listening to some of his cds now and none of his
material seems to be anywhere near as fast or as hard as
anything he played tonight, which means he either has a
kickass album in the works on he just likes doing shows
playing kickass tracks despite not having written them.

Yeah, I saw them on Saturday, and they both ripped it.
Bonobo's set was pretty good too. I recognized like every
one of Kid Koala's songs. The only songs I recognized from
Amon's set were the Slayer track, "4 Ton Mantis", and
"Gravel (Obliterated)". But yeah, it was a really good show.

Saw him do a 45 minute set last summer and it was excellent.
He started with Verbal and mixed seamlessly through drill n
bass and ambient industrial back to Verbal to finish. A
genius. I didn't recognise any of the music apart from his
own.
