Glasgow culture. Violent, aggresive, hard-drinking, scowling. b) false. although we are hard-drinking a scowl a lot, it is the minority who are aggresive. Glasgow is a robust city. Already it has been voted European City of Culture and City of Architecture. Glasgow has a multi-million squid waterfront regeneration program taking place on the Clyde (Namely Glasgow Harbour). We have the second greatest shopping in the UK, after London. We have a great football team in Celtic (though I am biased). All of these factors should diminish outsiders views of this city being harsh and violent. Of course it's still a shithole, but its MY shithole so there and that bye. |
