I f-uped. :/ I'm not gonna bother you with the details, but I was unable to finish my essay for school in time.. Anyway today I got a couple of CDs in the mail and I popped in St Etienne's "Tiger Bay" into my CD and wow.. it is great! Also, I got the aphex twin "...I care because you do"-promo CD with the nice little golden letters (for promotional use only...) on the cover. I was wondering... should I remove the plastic around it or should I keep it on? I mean music is meant to be listened to, but it does look pretty nice with the golden letters and the plastics and all (the golden letters are on the cover, the plastics are around the jewel case) . So should I wrap it up or keep it where it is? actually I just checked the xlt discography, () and it saids it's HELL YEAH rare. so I should keep it then in plastic? My (back)cover is not the same as the cover on "the regular" ICBYD-CD...()... |

dont unwrap it! the tracklist is the same so just put on another copy you might scratch it and ruin it!! its a collectors item, and if you get bored of it you can make big $$$ on teh ebay |

the letters are stamped on the cd booklet cover ? the cd os just like mine, all the cds are the same, jsut the cover is stamped spometimes they cut the barcode onthe side of the cd or punch out the barcode on the back side return to company = if your a perfect person |

imsure someone by now has make the "promotional only......" stamp w/golden letters and is stamping every cd in theri collection oh and the 12" vinyl ususally has the same stamp |

heh. But also the back-cover is different from the non-promo version... It has a typed text on the left and the warp logo is only featured once on the cover. |

yeah that's what I was thinking. It's usually just really old stuff and ultra-rare items that are worth the big $. I haven't got a lot of promo's. The only one I can think of at the moment (besides this, AphexcD) is the David Lynch (Lux Vivens) promo... BUt I might have some more. ANyway, I'll probably wrap this some day soon. Today is a day for Saint Etienne! damn fine cd ("tiger bay")... mm |

I bought promo versions of "Chiastic Slide" and "Envane" on ebay (also listed as Rare? Hell Yeah), and paid £10-11 for both. |

yeah I payed only $5.5 US dollars for the ICBYD cd... it was a really good purchase I thought. It came as a surprise to me that it was still in plastic, or maybe that was written and I just didn't notice. good buy anyway. |
