great track!

so simple and good-sounding! it would be really cool if it,
halfway through (when done), changes its drums to some
really standard light pop-drums for a little while, and then
goes off on another rampage!

something like that with the come on my selector break

try just making an EXTREME contrast! I love
contrast-tracks... if it suddenly goes into those pop-drums,
and then they fade into a baroque piano-part which you
gradually time-stretch (best time-stretching is done by
hand... acids chopper is good for such things (select a
small area of the part, use '.' for "insert", and gradually
increase the length for which the part you are inserting
goes on for while using 'a' to move the selection right
(sorry if the shortcuts are wrong. they are on tooltips when
the chopper is open... hover over the buttons)).

I love that change up from the 80's drums into hard drill,
that's great... nice idea

The drums sound really clean, the choppy stutters help, well
done. That particular break is a little overused, a little
more change up and stuff even in that short section would be
cool.

Don't like the bass line. Grungy and cool sound, but just
hangs there, doesn't add to the line.

Neat idea, when you coming out with more long tracks?

I'd agree with most of what Sanguine said except I love the
Amen break so use it as musch as you like. The bass line
does however need to be darker and grimier and more driving.
It was pretty good though :D

i actually made the bass line by sampling a really tiny
section of a distorted drum break

also, this song will be longer once i finish it, hopefully.

thanks for the support too

:goes off searching through dvds for more things to sample:

Nice phat beats but needs some proper music.

just when i thought, what this really needs is a crazy
horror movie sample, in comes "return of the living dead" (i
think).

you know this isn't my thing, so...

sounds good, needs more layers and maybe some melodic
elements...

Definitely needs layers and melodic elements. Beats are
driving though.

haha the sample is actually from high fidelity

and it's hard to do melodies when you only use a wave editor

i thought it was that scene where the zombie was trying to
persuade his girlfriend to open the door and let him in...

sounds like a zombie, anyway. a desperate, lonely, hungry
zombie.

you chop a chunk of rhythm, open the wav in reason, find yr
bpm, make yr melody in reason, export as a wav, cut n
paste!

maybe...

this is the bomb :)

love the way it just comes in with the break ;)

one suggestion though - could you make it a bit more stereo?
To me, it kinda sounds like it's all in the middle....try
panning some stuff around, maybe automate some of the
breakbeat hits so they pan alternately at certain points and
stuff

i like this so far mate

AWESOME!

at first i thought it was going to be a public enemy song,
but then i recognized that distinct killer stock money
flavor...
