My coach is a racist. He hates Somalis, Mexicans and Arabs (so far). He hates Somalis because they are moving to Maine and hates Mexicans because they are moving into the US. Lately I have had to restrain myself from just killing him. He has called me "sand-nigger lover" followed by "terrorist lover" and he often proclaims genocide to be the best solution. He thinks all Arabs living in America should be forced to hold signs stating that they are not terrorists, either that or jail. This person is the worst person I have ever met. Has anybody else met somebody like this, how do you react? |

Holy shit - what kind of coach is this? If he's affiliated with anything organized, I would totally report him. He's fucking idiot in my humble opinion and should be forced to answer for his attitudes. I happen to think that immigration has produced a couple amazing countries (USA and Canada). If you look at what immigrant communities have produced in these two countries, it is truly amazing. For instance, Toronto has the largest Chinatown outside of San Fran. and it's so vibrant. A total asset for the city. |

I'm on it. The thing I'm worried about is my two friends that also go there. they are both a year younger than I am, which means they can't leave under the excuse of college. One of them (lets call him jack) is in the same boat as me and cannot stand it anymore. However he cannot leave because his parents will not allow it, no matter what we tell them. The worst part of this story I haven't told yet. It doesn't have to do with racism though so its a little off topic. I have recently discovered from jack that Mike (the racist cunt coach) has sexually harassed him in the past. Ya...pure hell |

the sexual harassment comes in the form of: giving "the claw" to jack constantly and making jack stretch and do bridges (which are really exposing) over and over when nobody is around and jack has nothing but boxers and "whites" on (whites are basically see through stretchy spendex). |

my parents are fine with me quitting therefore I am quitting. I have considered talking with my friends parents but that is a little hard (if you knew them you'd understand why, and I have failed to convince them in the past) However if it continues or gets worse I probably will let them know a little more directly than I have in the past |

i don't know if they know about the sexual harassment thing. I only found out yesterday, and my friend was just recounting what he had experienced and realized what it was. So unless he has told his parents between yesterday and today they do not know. We have told them about Mikes racism, and they agree its deplorable, that's all. It's not as if they don't give a shit, I think that they think that we are either exaggerating or making things up. The fact that jack is extremely taciturn and his parents are extremely loud, oppinionated and quickly come to conclusions (not to mention that his father has selective hearing) makes explaining things to them very difficult, if not impossible. Also, the sexual harassment could seem to all be perfectly necessary for a gymnastics coach, everything he's done can be explained; he hasn't done anything explicitly sexual. If we were to just blurt out to some police officer that our coach is a child molester, we would be in a lot of trouble because he isn't. What he IS is a guy who seems to like touching my friend quite a bit. If he DID do something blatantly sexual it would be better than the current situation. At least then we could tell the authorities and finally get out of that place. |

That is a really fucking tough situation right there. I honestly don't know what to advise, apart from getting the testimony of other people to a) jack's parents and b) someone who could put this guy's job in jeopardy, particularly if his parents think this is even partially fabricated. Other people need to know about this situation before anything positive can happen. |
