hi again, been away for a while. and all because of what i am about to tell you, in the last few weeks i have come across more and more people on slsk interested in organising an online commune for art of any kind, wether its audio/visual or literature (we do not want to limit the kind of art that is contributed)
anyway, at this point there are 20 odd people serious about contributing time and effort....so i am waving the flag on xltronic to see if i cant find any more people interested in getting the ball rolling on this project.
to briefly cover the idea, it could be an online community purpose being to allow people to share (which is nothing new i know) and collaborate on projects to do with art.
freedom of expression is key, and we want to establish a place where artists can get together at its most basic, whatever else it turns out to be is up to the community, because we want to leave it up to the users to shape things how they want.
thats about all i can think of for now, if you've read this far, good on ya....and if you're already dying to be in on this :P, but have more questions, send them to me at marsel@newyork.com
ciao

i'm not disinterested in this, i guess it's just so vague i can't form any opinion about it.
what's it all about then?
