last night i tried hash for the first time. it was quite enjoyable. basically the best description i can come up with is it's like drinking a cup or two of coffee (to be fairly awake), smoking many MANY bowls (spacing out like a motherfucker), and lasting about 4 times as long as the average hydro. i enjoyed it greatly, but being as i'm just trying it now for the first time at the old age of 20, it's EXTREMELY hard to come by. i've seen hallucinogens around here more than hash. so overall, i give hash: ******** 8/10 stars it loses 2 points for being extremely hard to get, and leaving me burnt as fuck this morning. i slept for about 12 hours. also, it could possibly have fucked up my weed tolerance. i won't know until tonight though. i doubt it since they are different substances, but i know very little about it so i'm not sure if THC is the big thing in it or not. anyone have any insight into this? |

hashish is mostly crap..atleast here..but sometimes there are good stuff on the market..i prefer good bud over hash any day |

hash is nice, it smokes a lot nicer than weed. and well here it's very easy to get so that's not a problem only hash is a bit more expansive than weed so weed is better (for my wallet). |

hash is all we get over here really. Grass is WAY over priced. We pay about £40 an oz on hash and about £60/£80 on grass |

i've always found hash to be kind of a body high... when you mix it with pot the effects are usually very lovely... i haven't had hash in a while... i would like to now... |

yeah that's the only time i've ever seen it in my life, and i doubt i'll ever see those kids again, as the parties i keep going to have the same 1 or 2 people that i go there with, and 20 people i'll only know for that evening, and never see again. |

hash is kinda rare where i live. However it is easy to make if you have some damn good weed. I've had hash a couple of times and I agree with your review. Its a very "up" high that gets you blitzed. Smokes veeery smooth, and it tastes better than weed, imo. |

hash is pretty rare here. i've never seen it here at all. in my experience it varies widely in quality. here's a primer...the majority of thc (which is actually a wide variety of related molecules similar to thc, not just one) collects in crystalline glands on the leaves that surround the female flowers of the plant, called glandular trichomes. hashish is made by drying the flowers, then thrashing the plants (which may also be rubbed through silkscreens) to shake off and collect the crystalline trichomes, which when pressed together form a dense gum that can be various shades of red to brown to black. the quality of hash depends entirely on the quality of the plants used in it's manufacture, so it's even possible to make hash that will only give you a headache, not get you high. |

Hash is much more common than grass in the uk, which sucks as i usually like grass a lot better, as it's usually better quality. It does taste better, but most of the time it just makes me sleepy. |

yes, but it depends on how much you smoke. For example, if taking 1 hit gets you high for hours, smoking more wont get you higher. If the THC receptors in your brain are full, trying to force more THC into your system will not get you higher because your are as high as you can go because your receptors are at maximum capacity. |

supposedly oxidation of the thc-related molecules increases the narcotic qualities, and very often hashish would be well oxidized. also, the stoning vs. narcotic qualities of the plants vary according to genetics. the reverse-tolerance effect is not a rule, i've observed tolerance (as have, i'm sure, many others here) develop in myself; if you haven't smoked in months and you have some you'll notice the intensity gradually diminishes over a few days as you smoke more. i believe the reverse-tolerance effect is observed primarily in those who smoke very frequently (daily). |

hash is all you can get here. good weed is impossible to get unless a friend has just visited holland etc.. i'd go along with mc_303_beatz... good weed beats hash any day. with hash you get stoned and feel like shit, good weed you get high. |

actually i've found tolerance to be a bizarre thing. 3 years ago, i could smoke a bowl and be fairly stoned for 4-6 hours. NOW, i can smoke a bowl and be REALLY stoned for 1-2 hours. however, i'm pretty sure i was only smoking mid-grade brickweed back in the day, before i had a good hydro connection. i am so fucking burnt right now though, we smoked about an 8th of hydro both nights this weekend. i need to take a break or else i won't be able to crunch numbers at work tomorrow. |
