1) where can i see a list of all programs that run (automatically) when windows starts up, and can i just remove the ones that i don't want to run automatically or are there some that i shouldn't touch
2) is there a patch or some other way to get rid of that annoying message (see pic) that pops up everytime a program freezes? i don't want that question everytime i click 'end task' on a program
thanks in advance

try this - it's pretty advanced, but i like it. and you can find a *crack* for it. not that you'd use it...

Hey Morton...how goes? :)
well...on the XP-front, I strongly recommend Windows 2000 instead, simply because there aren't any solutions for a bad OS like XP

as for the error message - i think you can tweak to get rid of it. this program makes it easy:

hey junk, long time no see, hope you pop in more often again :)
i only have the xp install cd so i guess i'll stick with xp, but i see that's not a smart move in your opinion :D
and thanks beta, those seem to be useful programs, i already solved the 'send / don't send' notification problem though, it was somewhere hidden under an 'advanced' tab of the 'system' part in the control panel
now there must be someone who can tell me where i can see the list of programs that run when windows starts up..? i think it's the same with all windows versions
