more like a revamp of his old sound, before he went all crap(or pop). good in theory, bad in real life. the previous voodoo child album, "the end of everything" is very very good though.

acording to moby:
"Not an experimental record, not an avant-garde record, but a straightforward, underground, electronic dance record"

i slammed through it at the record store, it is more techno than what moby has become, but its very minimal and not at all what he could have made, its no "Go!"

im downloading the album to see if it's any better than those samples...if it is im going to get it...tho im very disappointed with those samples, and that moby's comment about the album - like he's becoming a little pretentious or something...

i liked his ambient cd, aswell as everything is wrong, moby, and animal rights. some cafe latte young adult hip but aging "scene" stole play from me. i couldnt jam to it because i didnt have dockers and a nice mitsu to drive around a city whilst drinking starbucks bobbing my head to his simplistic sampling that was apparently "with it" back in 2000

well yeah no shite, but as the saying goes "i think he sold out" and forgot about the great purpose of electronic music, and its not to have as filler music for car commercials, or as music for britney spears to sing over on her new cd

not heard it. his name's not anywhere on the release is it? everything i've heard said its not what it could have been..
saw him on tv in an interview + he wasn't saying much about it. wouldnt give the details of the release. the interviewer was saying "sooooooooo youve got a new album out" ..as far as i can remember, moby's reply was along the lines of : "well, not really. not as moby. the name moby is nowhere on it. its a pretty basic dance record. i don't expect to sell many copies"
