We used to? Or was that just in school?

Some of our fellow Welsh people are pushing for a national
holiday and building it to a big cultural day. It'll never
happen. We are a useless country filled with useless people.

Yep, only schools... Sad they got rid of it really. St
David's day has a lot more cultural symbolism than, say, St.
George's day. It's almost like a mini-Eisteddfod and at
least there are some cultural trappings such as welsh cakes,
cawl and welsh ladies' hats. What exactly happens on St.
George's day? :P

St Georges Day.....errrrr.....far to complicated for a
simplistic welsh brain to comprehend. :P

King Matjaz was a good king. He gave only good coins.
They didn’t know yet the other money. Gold times were
really in that time because of that. Under bushy limes our
dads were dancing every day and drinking wine. King Matjaz
was Slovene king. He was chosen by nation on Seint
Mary’s field and on Krn Castle he had his throne. At
night and day open door castle and every poor man could
obtain mercy and justice by request. Because the king was
arch ruler the other kings emoted him. Once many enemies
come from West. His army was destroyed in a bloody fight.
Because he was fair king he wasn’t killed but when he
was running away from the enemy a rock opened in Reeicah. He
escaped there and rock hid him from the enemies. There he is
resting now with his heroes and when his beard will his grow
up nine times around the table mountain will give him back.
Then he will rule happy Slovene people. The choused one has
more time have a luck to get to him. At Reeicah it was black
Smith and that be was looking something for hammer, but he
found a hole through which one he came to some other world.
He saw king Matjaz at the oval table sitting and sleeping.
Fat bag of gold coins was on table. The black Smith it took
it and from that time he was rich man. You can see a hole
the last day of the year

Follow me to safety! :D

Cawl for those who really want to know is simply soup. Why
people choose to have it today of all days is beneath me. A
before someone says...."Ahh but its special
soup".....bollocks.....look at the bilingual signs in Tesco
"Cawl=Soup"

:P
