damn, i forgot to give you a couple of links

www.macosxhints.com

they have daily updates on tips and hints for Mac OS X (they
don't update over the weekend though). very technical stuff,
usually UNIX tips, but nonetheless VERY useful

http://www.mactracker.ca/

this is a good place for a program called
MacTracker.....catalogs EVERY piece of Apple hardware,
detailed info on tech specs, and links to OS updates. quiteb
handy for historical pruposes too

as soon as i come across some more links, and if i remember
any more, i'll let you know
