I don't think any of the Warp artists are getting much of a say about this happening... the affiliation with Channel 4 means that Warp stuff is on there and the related channels all the time (I hear a new one pretty much every week, this week it's 'Freak' advertising Nip/Tuck). The "proper" ads is similar, maybe some of them don't even know about their music being used |

Maybe... maybe not. It depends on the contract. I have read about this in a U2 book and Warp might be able to sell the music for an advert and Afx for example wouldn't be able to say shit. If anyone here ever gets signed to Warp, be a dear and let us know eh :) |
