this is the first song i've made with my copy of Cubase SL.
I've made over 300 with fruity loops but I felt the need to
branch out ;)

mp3

just right click that to DL... it's pretty short...

thanks to camp freedom for the space...

would you care to comment on how cubase has been a different
experience for you in terms of creating music than
fruityloops?

woah, sorry, did that one up interview style.

its totally different..... a completely new approach because
I never used MIDI before, just .wav samples.... I never knew
exactly how limiting Fruity Loops was... the options to cut
and edit and drag loops and rearragne are endless

I thought your response was going to be the exact opposite,
I figured you had been using MIDI in FL and then switched to
recording live audio in cubase... hehe forgot cubase is also
a sequencer =p

Thanks... I took a class in HTML last fall but I forget
every single command I learned... and I got an A+ in that
somehow.... lol

mm. this sounds unfinished.

like it's the backingtrack for something else.

the jumps in the beat also sound too messy, like they're
mistakes, not your choice. they sound like their put in
there arbitrarily, almost by chance.

in short: not very interesting in this form.

Sounds massively underfinished.

I agree with everything qrter said.

It's not too bad, but you really need to take it easy on
BitCrusher. Do not be lured into its trap.

Thanks for the comments guys..

I defintaly agree it's underfinished... but it WAS my very
first song out of cubase... I still think its pretty good
for a first attempt.

I'll heed you're adive about the BitCrusher, it is a fairly
obvioius effect once you've heard it a few times...

any other comments would be welcome

I love the bitcrusher. It makes everything sound lovely and
deconstructed. :D
