Damn these guys rock. I purchased theyr newest cd
yesterday, "Scandinavian Leather". It's just amazing how
they can hit it like that in every single song in the album,
there is so much energy, even when compared to some aphex
tracks..

Anyone else like them?

Yeah man! About time someone started a thread about this!
Scandinavian Leather was good, but their second last, called
"Apocalypse Dudes" are ten times better. They are fantastic
live, and their record is the best music for parties, ever!
And the song titles are hillarious. "I got erection," "Rock
against ass," "Raggare is a bunch of motherfuckers", "Hot
cars and spent contraceptives". Fantastic....

Yeah, I could. But I've tried to start rock threads, but
they tend to loose against threads about "someone's"
virginity, underaged girls and
"OHMYGOD!THENEWSQUAREPOSHA'ISGREAT!" Just happy to see a
thread that interest me, I guess :)

I've downloaded "Apocalypse Dudes" and i quite like it. But
in Scandinavian Leather i love the strings and the massive
sound of the whole album, its quite massive sounding..

Do you people listen to other rock bands? I love Qotsa, and
allso I've been listening to Mondo Generator for the last
week, nice songs.

And if you Morston-X like stoner rock, then you should check
out the finnish band called "Sweatmaster". Its awesome

I will check them out yes. I listen to a lot of rock. Other
Norwegian bands to check out is Gluecifer (a bit like
Hellacopters and The Soundtrack of our lives) and of course
the brilliant Motorpsycho (but only the 1993-1998 stuff).
