I had the honor of seeing this film back on Christmas, and was highly entertained by it. Good plot, great characters, great direction. I don't remember who directed it though - can anyone recommend some other films in this particular niche? |

HE directed Amelie also? Awesome! I watched that last night, and absolutely loved it. I also noticed that Dominique Pinon was in it - is the tobacco-selling girl in Amelie the girl he gets with in Delicatessen? |

i dont know... i dont think so... maybe, but i dont think so. i know his next one will star audrey and his main man d as her uncle. if you havent seen city of lost children run right out and rent it dude. its amazing |

for delicatessen and the city of lost children mr caro did a lot visually. they are jeunet and caro movies in a way....but now jeunet works alone. |

what's caro's full name? i'll take a look at him too. i've liked these films so much because... well... i don't know... the best reason would be that they are so - LIVELY. There's lots of life to them. |

yes, but i wouldnt take anythign away from amelie either. it has a definitely visual world of its own, which may not be as stark or bleak as the first 2 films, but is quite charictaristic of the vibe of them nonetheless. |
