i heard a few of his songs and i really liked him. the beats
are a little lacking at times, but his rhyme scheme is
incredible, one of the better british mc's ive heard (i put
them in a different catagory because there really is a huge
difference between british and american mcs) nothing holds a
candle to the streets tho

american mc's for the most part are quite shitty

andre 3000 and big boi are two of the most talented american
(and otherwise) mcs ever. theyre just too fuckin smooth with
their rhymes

This album is fucking amazing. I haven't heard something
this exciting since DollDollDoll. When people talk of next
level shit, this is what they mean.

Where does this sound come from? Are there others who do
this style of music? (Please don't say 'The Streets'.)

How can anyone who appreciates electronic shit not love this
album?

people have been talking about this other fellow named Ty,
as though he is comparable... but really, there's probably
several artists you could check out... in the various
garage-rap crews... i think Dizzee Rascal's is called "Roll
Deep"

personally i don't mind this album... i like him as an MC,
and i can totally see what critics are saying about haw raw
it is and whatnot... i just don't really like too much of
the production on this album... at all... especially that
fuckin' single with the stupid hair metal sample...

i've still yet to hear the all of the Andre half of the
latest Outkast... but i have to say, as much as i like
outkast... the vast majority of Big Boi's tracks sound like
filler... there's really only 2 or 3 on the album that i'd
care to listen to on a frequent basis (and these are all
very good)

he may or may not make some half decent tunes but i saw him
getting interviewed once and he seems as thick as pigshit.

Because it's poorly made.

Etes-vous fucked? The production is dope as fuck. My
initial problem was the vocal style, but once you're into
that, you've got it made. The lyrics are smart too.

Trust me, I am surrounded by dozens of Dizzee Rascals every
time I leave my house. They're not famous and they don't
have a particularly wide vocabulary or a record deal, but
they're ten a penny, dumb as fuck, and responsible for the
large majority of petty crime in most parts of England. This
music is a tired, tired fashion that everyone will forget
about as soon as the next one rolls around. Boring.

Of course maybe I just hate mankind.

DJ Xammax, I find your views interesting. I'd like to here
more. How do you feel about race relations in England?

Tired, man. But this isn't about race. It's about shitheads
who ruin life for the rest of us. Not all of them are that
bad, but for the most part, they are a sub-culture of
half-wits who think that life is about making a name for
yourself and getting respect from other like-minded cunts.
They dress the same, they talk the same, they listen to the
same music. The music that appears to be in fashion with
them now is garage, or '2-step'. I find the music to be
dreadful, I admit it might be a matter of taste.. but the
association with 'scallies' (one of the few names that
exist, some places don't even have a name because there are
so many of them) , plus the fact that is merely a fashion,
makes me disregard it almost altogether.

I understand what your saying. I feel the same way about the
thugish attitute some black people have around here. Yet
when I hear white people give the exact same opinion I get
slightly offended. As if they don't have the right to
criticize other races.

The typical liberal argument for this sort of behaviour is
that these people don't have the same economic opportunities
because of racial intolerance. I'm not sure if I believe it
100% of the time but I think there's some truth to it.
