Wheee!

I knew it was coming a year or two ago when I heard
references to Yes being so unhip it's almost cool. And now
the moment is upon us.

I mean, come on - IDM is just prog by people who can't play
instruments.

Nobody ever though King Crimson was uncool, at least,
they're namedropped left and right and front and center.

Haha, Tales from Topographic Oceans got a 2.2! It's my
favorite Yes album, because it sucks more than the rest of
them.

Yup - I'm gonna get some of the Rhino re-releases. Nothing
like a hot summer night with Yes playing, an iced tea and
some nightbirds calling. All I have by them is the Yes
Classics greatest hits package.

King Crimson has Robert Fripp, who is Brian Eno-level cool
and original - as a matter of fact they've collaborated.

One of my favorite Fripp collabs is I Advance Masked with
Andy Summers - whacked out but listenable ambient guitar
experiments with some very scary bits.
