It's just for Gamecube like you said....up to 4 players...offline only. It's release date is tomorrow, but most retailers won't get it until Tuesday. If you likes Secret of Mana and the like, this will be up your alley.

Alright. Is it true that if you have a gameboy advance, it displays a map seperate for yourself?

Yeah that's indeed true. A really nice feature to keep the screen from being jumbled up.

Yeah, I think I am goin' to check into buying me the system whenever I have the extra cash. I want to check it out. I was completely annoyed that it wasn't for Ps2 like it usually is.

this game looks like shit. the character designs suck and remind me alot of another ff game, i think its the really bad one after eight...

Lol, well 8 was really good in my opinion. I loved how it started off because it got me completely interested. As for the ones higher up, yeah they are nice. I liked 9 because it was bringing back the old nature of the final fantasies and 10 because the graphics were favorably good.

I think that FFX-2 went a little overboard on how they portrayed the characters to be like Charlies Angels or anything of the nature.

Yep, comes out tomorrow. It's not really a Final Fantasy game in the traditional sense - it's more closely related to The Secret of Mana or games like Dark Alliance, only with a Final Fantasy twist... not much story, mostly running through dungeons killing things. From what I've read, playing the game in single player mode is sort of a dull experience, but it's supposed to be fun with 2 or more people (preferably 4). The only downside to it all is that if you want to play with two or more people, you each must have a Gameboy Advance. One player can be played with a GBA or with a regular control.

FF7 is overrated. Though...that's to be expected because most people never touched an RPG before FF7. Not saying that you haven't, but that's the general reasoning behind it being the best.

I do that as well. I don't nearly play as many console games as I use to before I got ahold of being an internet junkie. If it wasn't for Diablo 2 taking away 2 years of my life I would still be in the click of playing console games. Now I don't do much of either....except be an internet junkie.
As for Anime...I really use to collect it before it was shown on TV and whatnot, but now I just stick with Adult Swim. The last Anime I bought was the EVA boxset and the movie.

I'm working on that one next. My friend Gwen told me I should get that and berserk because he trust I would like them. He also introduced me into Serial Experiments Lain, which I say was worth my 130 dollers for the boxset.

Yeah, Berserk and Lain are quite popular from what I've noticed. I keep meaning to check out Lain...perhaps I'll get to both by the summertime, since that's when I seem to get to watching a lot of anime.
And who hasn't played D2...lol. It's a damn shame blizzard didn't charge a monthly fee to keep the realm hack free. Perhaps with Diablo 3...

eva is bogshite, but alot of people think its enlightening or something. i guess its a phase. i'm narrow minded when it comes to anime:
perfect blue akira cowboy bebop grave of the fireflies ghost in the shell spirited away totoro princess mononoke
thats it.

I bought some final fantasy game for ps2. It was soo horrible. Then I bought an old snes ff game and wasn't that great either. Secret of mana, phantasy star, sword of vermillion and others are a lot better I think.

hah. the ps1 port would be awesome if it weren't for the horrendous load times during battles, which are non existant on the cart version for snes.
on a related note, the Nu in that game are funny.

I'm not interested in this game at all... everyone's throwing their second rate shit at the Gamecube... and once there, this second rate shit somehow always involves some lame Gameboy Advance gimmick.
But I secretly don't want to like this game anyway, because I have too many ''adventures'' in progress right now, including two brand new Invisible War and Knights of the Old Republic saves this weekend.
