ow do folks, just thought i'd tell you about our
predicament.
we've had a visit from the police issuing us with a Cease
and Desist order to shut our station down. which we are NOT
going to do, we are the last Pirate broadcasting in
Amsterdam and now they wqant us gone.
it will cost us 5000 euros to get bail when we are raided.
i was involved with a station in Liverpool that got fucked
over by the Man, now its happening here.
all we want to do is play music and have a good time.
FUCKERS!!!
rant over

Live to fight another day, if you get raided, you risk
having all your equipment taken away aswell as a fine.
You could always go the internet broadcast way for a while,
then re-establish when you are no longer being pressured.
I Fuking hate it when pirate stations get shut down.

well this is a hard choice my man! if you really care about
it either way is going to be OK i guess, but if you want to
make a stand, do it!... its all in your heart as to what you
are going to do..

It does suck a lot though.. goddamn!

dang, that must suck after all the effort required to get it
running.
I wish I had a solution for some advice but I can't think of
anything that hasn't allready been suggested. (being the
last pirate station in amsterdam mustn't help either)

tis a bitch,
the gear we take with us to do our show is alot, dont know
whats gonna happen but the raid will be live on air.
couldnt handle all our gear going.

cheers for the support though.

next couple of weeks should prove interesting. we'll have to
barricade ourselves into the bunker for the show

things are looking up, if we follow a few 'rules' it looks
like we might be able to get round it legally.
basically the police and authorities dont want to make too
many waves so we could be ok,

fingers crossed

we are here by the way:

the wonderful world of Radio Patapoe

you'd be surprised how tough the laws are in Holland, quite
a conservative place at times
