A while back there was a thread concerning some kind of "Kid Loco Mix" or something along those lines. The post contained an enormous track listing as well. I'm asking if anyone can tell me what the name of this mix was exactly or atleast send me the thread (search comes up with nothing). The tracks on this baby were really nice. All I had to do was open soulseek, copy paste the mix name, and blammo, my spidey-sense was tingling with roughly 80 superb tracks. I only dl'd like 10 before winter break. Now I'm back and retarded for more. |

I'm not sure if this is the mix you are talking about "!K7081CD Kid Loco - DJ Kicks" it's only has 18 songs. |

a girl i was seeing for a little while about 4 years ago had kid loco's dj-kicks record. she loved it, but we didnt stay together long enough for me to have the opportunity to hear it to this day im not sure if i trust her taste in music implicitly. so.. is it a good album? |

It's a great mix album with songs like: DJ Vadim - Theme from Conquest of the Irrational Jazzanova - Introspection Underworld - Bluesky Boards of Canada - Happy Cycling just give it a try I do like almost every DJ-Kicks release, so if you like mix albums check out some more releases of this amazing !K7 project. |

nice one. i'd never bothered getting round to checking the tracklisting. but then again, i try not to buy mix cds on the strength of individual tracks. partly because, if i like them that much, i probably already have them unmixed in my music collection.. + mainly because the mix has to work as a whole. theres nothing more disappointing than buying a mix where the best tracks are the ones you already know/have + the rest is filler. my current girlfriend* has the k+d dj kicks disc. sounds pretty good. the series has one of the best reputations around. a lot of mix lp series around have one or two strong releases + a lot of mor ones. i'll make sure i pay more attention to the kicks discs.. * hmm.. i sense a pattern emerging. |
