I'm having problems with IE. The problem is very new and really beggining to irritate. Basically the content in 'pop up' windows wont load or for instance if I attempt to open up something in a new window then the content doesn't load. This has been happening in the last few days and is seriously cheesing me off, does anyone have a solution? Do I have a virus?

I have mozilla 1.5 and it happens on it too. Some pages just load up without content. Weird.

This is something to do with one of the Microsoft security updates...it appears to have fucked up links to new windows and popups.
Get Firebird from www.mozilla.org until Microsoft find a fix for their fix.

I don't tend to get problems with IE, so I dont see what a lot of the anti-IE nonsense is all about

That is down to your cache being full. If there is not a copy of the image in the cache (due to it being full) IE uses it's displayed version to save, which it respresents as a BMP file.
Solution - Clear your cache :D

this thread title is redundant.
IE is a problem in and of itself.
firebird is the cure.

I'm using a mix of Firebird and IE but I'm finding Firebird slower than IE but then again I've got no choice.
