Yep, apparently he says he's getting ready to release a new
album this year.

Endless Summer is one of the best electronic albums ever
made.

Venice is out on Touch in March...

but if you're really thirsty for Fennesz, he's done a tonne
of collab work with other improv players and a lot of it is
really good:
FennoBerg (2 albums... both sweet)
Fennesz with Polwechsel (interesting quiet improv stuff)
Fennesz live in Japan
Fennesz with Kurzmann and Daffeldecker (also feat. O'Rourke,
Siewert and Drumm... very very good)
etc.
(check allmusic for a bunch more...)

fennesz live in japan is wonderful.
and fenn'o'berg EPs are two of my top 10 last year's
releases.

my ears are a bit suffering (too much noise, mego
stuff...),but i wanted to get endless summer..
is it quiet, pop or noisy stuff, or middle of the road in a
way?

certain tracks on Field Recordings are way better than
Endless Summer (like Surf, or Codeine)... but the album,
being a compilation, isn't that consistent... i know venice
will rock, though

yeah venice will rock: just look at his 2 most recent
tracks: "better man" on field recordings and "perlen für
euch" on warpmart vol.1 both are among his best!

ehh, i only worry about full lengths from this guy. if i
were to get all his collaborations, then id have to do the
same with others. i already want too much music so i have to
limit myself.
of course some of them may be good but i dont have the money
or time to hear all of his collaborations.

i'll wait for venice and continue to enjoy endless summer.

Afterr trrying to buy Venice in HMV (and not finding it) and
so foolishly buying The Lost Riots by Hope of the States
(which is gone forr good now), I looked back overr the
Fennesz albums I alrready own and in parrticularr the Fenn
O'Berg albums. Fan bloody Tastic. If anyone is stuck forr
something to buy, look to Fennesz.
