can someone make it so that links to things outside
xltronic automatically opens up in a new window?

as an alternative, everyone could start writing
target="_NEW" in the a-tag.

As an alternative you could right click and select "open in
new window"

i do, but it's annoying. it's one extra operation.

to get rid of this operation for all times to come, some mod
should put some php in here to make all links aimed outside
xltronic open in a new window.

i could even write the code for them just to get rid of the
two extra mouse-clicks.

lazy?

But then you don't have the choice. And sometimes I don't
want a new window, just like sometimes I don't want a
chicken sandwich.

but then YOU should have to righ-click and choose "don't
open in a new window.. and NO FUCKING CHICKEN SANDWICH!"

Man you must be using an old browser, I've had that option
for months.

I've addressed this issue earlier, but no one seemed to
care. I always make mine target="_blank" though.

it isn't all that hard to make it so that all external links
link to a new window. all we need is the attention of a mod.

Where does this target="_blank" or target=_"NEW" go in the
code thingy?

automatically parsing links would be nice too.

pisses me off when somebody copies and pastes a 500
character URL and doesn't take the 4 seconds to make it a
proper link.

complaining attitude. Suckers! ;)
